President Cyndi Hughes was the founding director of the Texas Book Festival, one of the premier literary festivals in the country, and a longtime editor at Texas Monthly. Her background as an editor/writer and event-planner, combined with her experience in public relations, offers a dynamic set of services to promote both books and authors.

CHLM's contacts in both the media and the publishing industry can open doors that are usually closed to the average author or small publisher; CHLM has placed clients on shows like Hardball and Scarborough Country, along with various radio and print outlets. CHLM's associates include editors with years of commercial experience, successful published authors who provide services such as manuscript evaluations, and experienced publicists and book store veterans.
